I ordered this planter for my Mother. She absolutely loved it! There was a variety of flowers and colors that all went well together. The planter was definitely a wonderful alternative to a cut flower bouquet. Mom loved that she could put it out on the deck and enjoy it all summer.

My daughter is a freshman at Miami University. I saw that Oxford Flower Shop pre-ordered Sorority Flowers. First time sorority mom and the communication, customer service, delivery, and attention to detail, actual flowers was unbelievable! My daughter and her roommate both were accepted into different sororities and both flowers were specific to their new sorority. I highly suggest Oxford Flower Shop. I definitely will use them again.

I was pleasantly surprised that they had same day service! Although it wasn’t clear to me what the cut off time was for a same-day order. I didn’t place my order early in the day but still selected same day, just in case it wasn’t too late. Almost immediately I got a call from the store to let me know that deliveries had already gone out for the day. I didn’t expect such conscientious service! But the website could be improved a lot. The first thing is that information on delivering to Somerville is contradictory (and Somerville is spelled incorrectly).

I had a good experience ordering flowers for my daughter for Miami's graduation. I ordered initially online without speaking directly to the flower shop. There was one glitch with this, which was the hours given on the web site were incorrect. I would recommend calling them directly either instead of or in addition to ordering online. The flower shop did call me about the issue and in the end a very kind employee stayed around after they were closed so I could get there. The flowers themselves were lovely as well.

Yes...you are right flowers especially roses go up in price two weeks around Valentine's Day. 90 % of flowers are coming from out of the country...supply and demand, shipping costs, covid has caused people not to work the flower farms, etc. Its a mess! Order a mixed arrangement with 1 red rose in center for 50.00 and up around that time. Roses are great but the most expensive. Thanks again!

Flowers arrived on time, looked great, and the text delivery system set up was perfect for delivery on campus. I was very happy with the product/service.
The only negative was the fees, specifically the "service fee" (not sure what this is) which is different from the delivery fee which they also charge, but at least I understand that one. Why not include that service charge in the listed flower price instead of surprising you with it at checkout?

But like with most flower services, the picture never looks like what the person gets. The arrangement they got was very pretty, I saw a picture of it. Hi, I just read your review and the pictures are samples and don't always reflect the flower choices. We send something similar if they are out of that flower. I can't remember but I think we added more than what picture showed...mainly because I know your mom. Overall, excellent. I ordered the flowers, and my aunt and uncle in Oxford received them within mere hours. I didn't see the arrangement but they loved it. One small gripe: $6.95 delivery fee and $4.99 service fee. Why two surcharges? What service did I order other than the delivery? Clearer explanation on your website would be nice.

Also, I wish I would have been told you were going to text the person I got the flowers and I would have given her roommates number so it didn't ruin the surprise.

Thank you for your review. Flower arrangements will not always look exactly like the picture unless we have 2 or 3 days notice. We had one day notice and used spring flowers like the picture stated. We always have to text these students because they are not home. We don't say what it is or who it is from. We just need a time frame to deliver. Too busy to go back and forth to addresses all day. Next time giving us a roommates number would really help. Thanks!

I have been very happy with the Oxford Flower Shop! My mother is in an assisted living facility, and I order flowers from here for her birthday and Mother's day. The quality of the arrangements always meets or exceeds the photo of them on the site, and they are always delivered in a timely manner. My mom places the arrangements on a shelf outside her apartment, and she always gets oohs and ahhs from the staff and other residents.

When ordering I checked the hours of service and it said they had Friday and Saturday hours, so I filled out my order. Soon after I received a call, from the shop to tell me because of the Holidays that they were closed on Friday and Saturday, but that she would be glad to fill my order since she would be in due to paperwork. I told her it was not a necessity, but she would take no for the answer. She also told me she would not be able to get the multi-colored roses and asked which color I would prefer. It was very good customer service and I totally appreciated all the extra from the call to asking the color and especially filling my order on the holiday weekend. We used the Oxford Flower shop for our Miami Merger wedding flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages) and we couldn't have been happier. First, the shop probably has the best prices in town (even the same or better than Kroger, we shopped all around town), so that was a plus. Second, Kathy was helpful in setting up our order when we visited in person (we could only come to Oxford once before the wedding, and she was more than helpful in working with our tight schedule), and she was always helpful whenever we called (we modified our order twice, and she handled this wonderfully both times over the phone). Finally, everything was delivered as ordered, and all the flowers were gorgeous and really made our wedding beautiful! For anyone getting married in Oxford, whether a Miami Merger or otherwise, you can't go wrong with using the Oxford Flower Shop for your wedding flowers.

I would like to commend the Oxford Flower and Sorority Gift Shop for their outstanding customer service. I have taught a world class customer service class and was very amazed the Flower shop customer service representative employed a number of principles to make my experience with the business a win-win scenario. First, the arrangement I ordered was not actually something that could be kept and planted, they were cut flowers, realizing that the message I wrote to my mother did not fit with the arrangement I ordered, the shop called me (at their own expense) and offered an alternative. Second, they had to leave a message at my house and by the time I get home in the evening it is too late to call any business so I waited until the morning to contact the shop. The nice lady on the phone conveyed the situation with the arrangement I had ordered and offered to substitute it with another one that could be kept over the summer period. She stated that she had kept one back for me (since this was also graduation weekend) in anticipation I would rather the alternate arrangement (thinking ahead to provide the customer with multiple options). She also provided the arrangement at the same cost as the original order, which I think may be a little of a swag since my mother (who by the way is extremly happy with the arrangement) told me she couldn't get the plant through her front door and had to go around the side door and put it on her deck. I also have a sneaking suspicion the shop had to make a special delivery, again since this being graduation weekend and busy, because my mother was going out of town for Mother's Day and the plant had to be delivered on Friday and could not wait until Saturday. I feel that the Flower shop made my order their number one priority (again, given that it was graduation weekend and real busy), as if they didn't have anything else to do with their time. Oh and did I mention I live in Virginia and will definitly order again, and again, and again. As long as my mother lives in Oxford, all her flower and gifts will come from The Oxford Flower and Sorority Gift Shop. Thank you for the outstanding customer service and making me feel like my return business matters.
